History

Government Degree College, Old Agartala, Tulakona, Jirana, West Tripura
is a Government Co-Educational College located in the midst of natural
beauty on the east side of Khayerpur-Amtali Bypass Road in the Jirania
Sub-division under the West Tripura District. It was a necessity to set up a
new College in Khayerpur, because hundreds of students could not seek
admission to the established Colleges of Agartala city. The College is just
12 kms away from the Agartala Old Motor Stand.
